Kevin J. Sorochan is an associate in the securities and corporate finance group in Miller Thomson LLP Vancouver office. He is developing a practice advising underwriters, as well as public and private companies, with respect to a variety of transactions including: private placements, initial public offerings and reverse takeovers. Kevin also advises clients on general corporate matters such as mergers, acquisitions and restructurings. Prior to attending law school, Kevin spent several years working with two financial institutions, providing clients with lending and investment advice. Out of the office, Kevin can be found either on the ice or on the road. He is an avid hockey player who has also found time to travel to most of Europe, as well as parts of the Middle East, Central Asia and the South Pacific. He received B.b.A from Simon Fraser University in 1998 and LL.B from University of Saskatchewan and Called to the British Columbia Bar in 2005.
